http://kocanquilt.blogspot.com/2015/09/a-little-mini-top-completed.html
Quilting, Losing and Tea. Wednesday, September 30, 2015. A Little Mini Top Completed! It has been months since I posted on the blog again. I continue to struggle with taking the time to sew, but decided to join in on the. Monthly mini with Sherri at A Quilting Life. And Michelle at Island Life Quilts. I made little quilts (almost) every month for many months when it was "A Year of Schnibbles". It was so satisfying to get a project 'done' every month. I have some batiks that should work well for it. Orang...

Monday, October 31, 2011. Holley, a dear friend and awesome quilter/sewer/knitter/crafter, stopped by the shop with her latest creation. It is from a current magazine issue, but I can't remember which one. I took the picture to use as a reference for making my own, but I just couldn't resist sharing this cutie with you. What a great use of scraps! This project is definitely going on my list of gifts to make this year. Thursday, October 27, 2011. What project was it originally used for? After a few iterat...

Gnomemade: Final Finish of 2012
http://gnomemadekg.blogspot.com/2013/01/straddling-snowman.html
Thursday, January 24, 2013. Final Finish of 2012. This one was a race to the finish. And I'm a bit ashamed of how long it actually was in the making! As the clock chimed 11:53 pm on December 31, 2012, I put the final stitch in the binding. It was a miraculous finish right before the New Year and one I wasn't sure was going to happen. The pattern is by the Wooden Bear. And I've made a couple others like it - including two Turkeys. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Fat Quarter S...

Friday, June 28, 2013. Swoon"-ing Over Kate Spain. So, today's the last day of the Kate Spain Blog Hop hosted by Blossom Heart Quilts. As I mentioned yesterday. I basically "lurked" my way through the blog hop - following along, but never making it known. But, I promise, I have a good reason for my "lurking" tendencies - I was working on my entry for the "finished project" challenge.and boy did it take me the entire month! So, I give you my entry for the blog hop. My Terrain "Swoon.". I'm not really sure...

Gnomemade: Snowflake Star
http://gnomemadekg.blogspot.com/2014/03/snowflake-star.html
Saturday, March 8, 2014. It's no secret that I love Kate Spain's fabrics. I also love a good Christmas project. So a couple of years ago when one of the major quilting magazines featured a Christmas project with Kate Spain fabric, I jumped at the chance. Somewhere/somehow I snagged a Kate Spain jelly roll and slowly got to work on putting together the Snowflake Star quilt! Fast forward a couple of years (yup.it really takes me that long) and I finally finished one! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
