WHAT THE MMAYF DOES. MMAYF is focused on providing those who are less privileged a chance to be exposed to the amazing sport of Mixed Martial Arts. We do this by creating opportunities and events for those who are less fortunate to train and compete, in the form of seminars, scholarships, partnerships and workshops. We did a seminar for all of the kids at The Scottish Rite hospital today; had a great event! We want to thank Scholle Robertson and the whole crew over there for helping us do the event. Also a thank you to all of the nurses who took part in our demonstration! Another acknowledgement to Jesse Smith for his huge donation of toys for all of the kids and the event. Our goal and mission is to provide access to mixed martial arts to youth who otherwise would not be able to afford it and train at some of the best gyms in the United States. We believe that through training in mixed martial arts and creating healthy, yet competitive, training environments and lifestyles it will help youth build the necessary skills to be successful in life far beyond their time with us. Is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the MMA Youth Foundation. Saud's martial arts training began in his father's dojo at the age of three. Saud won two state titles in the process of earning his black belt in judo, then went on to study Shorin-Ryu karate and won four national titles. He received his black belt in 1997 from the United Karate-do Kai. His competition career culminated with an undefeated professional record of 3-0 in MMA but was cut short due to injury. The Mixed Martial Arts Foundation's 2013 - 2014 Scholarship Receipient. August 14th, 2013. MMAYF would like to formally announce it has chosen Santos Ofthelion as its 2013-2014 Scholarship award winner. All tuition and fees for training will be paid for Santos martial arts training here in DFW. Santos is currently a senior at Sunset high school in Dallas.
