Monday, December 23, 2013. Bad Blogger, Very Bad Blogger. Now that we've been back underway since September, I suppose I should try to make an entry here from time to time! We had a great cruise up to Maine and and enjoyed our summer time in Blue Hill. Before we knew it, it was time to move back aboard Morning Star and begin our migration south. We left our Blue Hill mooring behind on September 28, 2013. What laid ahead was the most perfect cruising weather we could every hoped for! December 23, 2013.

Friday, November 23, 2012. The past several days have been mostly uneventful. The sights are lovely and we've spotted many dolphins since North Carolina. We've been mostly confined to the boat since the weather has been windy and cold. Most nights we anchor and some nights we've been lucky enough to dock. Docking is great! Friday, May 31, 2013. On Board Herb Garden. Yesterday, I was finally able to put together my on board herb garden! I've been trying to figure out how to grow herbs without worrying about pots falling over in rough seas. I got these white plastic over-the-rail planters from Target (Room Essentials) for about $3 each. I secured the two together using 3 plastic zip ties. They fit snug around one of our antenna. Thursday, December 13, 2012. We've been in St. Augustine, FL for a week now. We had intended to stay for just a few days, but we've enjoyed this beautiful, old city so much we're still here! We left Hope Town on Saturday March 15. The plan was to do a quick stop at Marsh Harbour to do some provisioning and then head south to the Exumas. In the span of a week we stayed at Archers Cay, Red Bay, Tavern Cay, Pelican Cay, Tilloo Cay and Lynyard Cay. Walking around Royal Island. Ruins of a 1950 resort. We saw lots of this little guy here. The plan was to stay in Royal Island for a few days, until the strong winds abated. Once again, the plan had to be changed due to the weather. Links to this post.
