Living the wrong end of the English Channel proper groundswell, lines stacked to the horizon type days are fairly rare. Yesterday was one of those days and I was lucky enough to escape from family life and take advantage of it. Not only was it a proper swell, with a 16 second period, but it was dead offshore too.
