Notes from Nova Scotia: Three Years Ago
http://bouterhappenings.blogspot.com/2010/12/three-years-ago.html
Notes from Nova Scotia. Monday, December 27, 2010. Finally the plane was ready, I flew, Melissa picked me up and I poured out my anxious story since I just had to babble to somebody about this guy that I was so certain I was going to marry and yet barely knew at all. I fell asleep that night knowing that I was going to see him the next day and wondering what in the world we were going to say to each other. Now here we are, 3 years, two baby girls and a mortgage later.how did we get here? Actually we didn...

She entertains her...

Notes from Nova Scotia. Wednesday, November 26, 2014. There's so much I've neglected to share in the past.long while.partially because of time and energy constraints but also partly because I feel like the gap in communication is so wide already that I'll never be able to cover it all. Here are photos of some things from lately:. 2 sets of 3! Two of my mother-in-law's sisters visited from Holland this Fall. It was so nice to meet them. Thanks for all the great pictures Jaime! http://bouterhappenings.blogspot.com/2015/05/children-grow-up-as-ive-learned-to-my.html
Notes from Nova Scotia. Sunday, May 3, 2015. Children Grow Up, As I've Learned to my Sorrow. You may have heard this poem before, but I found it worth sharing or re-sharing:. Song for a Fifth Child. By Ruth Hulburt Hamilton. Mother, oh Mother, come shake out your cloth,. Empty the dustpan, poison the moth,. Hang out the washing and butter the bread,. Sew on a button and make up a bed. Where is the mother whose house is so shocking? She’s up in the nursery, blissfully rocking. May 7, 2015 at 8:15 PM.

Notes from Nova Scotia: August 2014
http://bouterhappenings.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Notes from Nova Scotia. Sunday, August 17, 2014. August 17, 2014. Thank you for the beautiful dress, Auntie Christie! She is 10 lbs 5 oz. Newborn size is officially too small and 0-3 months is no longer baggy. She has also moved up to a size 1 diaper. Lots more kicks and getting a bit more coordinated with her arms and trying to keep fingers in her mouth. She is most wakeful in the evening and most sleepy in the morning. She does her longest stretches of sleep at night (SO thankful! Topics of the Month.

Crawling faster and faster, transitioning from crawling to sitting and back again, just started pulling up to her feet while holding onto something. I found her standing in her crib earlier today:) She is into everything too! She's also playing peek-a-boo with a blanket and waving hi or goodbye sometimes. Evie likes ...

Ordinary Housewife: What's in a car?
http://www.annalynneredekop.com/2013/12/whats-in-car.html
Monday, December 9, 2013. What's in a car? Our well-used, well-loved little Volkswagen Jetta is being retired tomorrow. Indeed, she has served us well. I first rode in it during a torrential Pennsylvania rainstorm after two months of "not talking" to its blonde-headed commandeer. Little did I know then what a vital part of my story it would become. Farwell, Jetta, you majestic beast. Posted by Anna Lynne. Please tell me what you think! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). True love, true life. Everything ...
