Accidental Intricacy

Tuesday, May 19, 2009. Friday, May 8, 2009. Been wrapping my head around ActionScript. Got a simple map up and running. Not much to it now, just a repeating dirt tile and a bouncing black ball for a testing map object. You can grab the map with the mouse left button and move the mouse around to pan the map, and that's about it so far. But I'm getting there. You can take a look at the thing here. If you are curious. Thursday, May 7, 2009. Simplify, simplify, simplify. It's gotten out of hand. I'm in the m...

Accidental Intricacy: 3D Test

http://www.accidentalintricacy.blogspot.com/2009/04/3d-test.html

Tuesday, April 21, 2009. The good news is, though, I have a Wavefront .OBJ loader up and running, so exporting from Blender is a bit easier. Its worth noting, however, that 0.999. = 1. :P. Accidental Intricacy: Playing around

http://www.accidentalintricacy.blogspot.com/2009/04/playing-around.html

Saturday, April 25, 2009. I've been getting rather far afield with what I initially planned for this thing, but that is typical for me. Here is a new image. Couple things about it. 1) It's a fully 3D version of the procedurally generated mountains I made for the 2D top down overmap. Same exact mountains, slightly modified so that the generation routine exports a mesh geometry as well as the color map. 2) I'm playing with the idea of doing the overmap in this style: 3D, with perspective.

Posted by S. Keesler. Another story - after Jean had Erica, mom flew down to Las Vegas to be with Jean and Dad and I (honestly don't remember if Cindy and Dean were there or not) went down to see the baby and bring mom home. You all understand Dad's penchant for getting there ASAP, we didn't stop except for bathroom breaks. We had water and a bag of Fritos. We finally made dad buy us a meal and we were off again. Here's a copy of what Ike did in 1980 on Degory Priest (a Mayflower settler) - minus the cute little drawing of the Mayflower on the cover! It was pretty faded, but I think its a good copy of the original. It doesn't spell out our connection (of Tippetts genealogy) to Degory Priest. DEGORY PRIEST’S VOYAGE TO AMERICA. December 1, 1980. Tippetts Snippets

http://tippettssnippets.blogspot.com/2010/08/i-remember-when-i-was-probably-14-or-15.html

Posted by S. Keesler. I remember when I was probably 14 or 15, I knew mom was working on a sewing project. She had made a dress and it called for a cowl neckline but she didn't like cowl necklines so she put a facing on it and just made a regular neckline. She did a really good job on it. I couldn't move. We laughed about it later, but she then had to modify the modification, I don't remember ever seeing her wear that dress after that. Tippetts Snippets. Powered by Blogger. Jon and Teresa DaSilva.

Tippetts Snippets: Grandpa’s stash of Golf Balls

http://tippettssnippets.blogspot.com/2010/08/grandpas-stash-of-golf-balls.html

Grandpa’s stash of Golf Balls. Posted by Ike Tippetts in Golf. Dad was famous for the stacks of golf balls he had around the house. Whenever he received a gift or bought new ones he would stack them neatly in a pile to be used at a later date. Whenever he went golfing he would always return with a few extras he’d find in the roughs that were lost by previous golfers so he’d add those to his stash and was really proud of his collection. May 14, 2015 · 7:00 am. I am hoping with all the positivity I can muster that AccuWeather will be wrong. They were wrong last weekend, after all, so who’s to say they won’t be wrong this weekend…right? I once read a confessions-esque post. On Thought Catalog that interviewed people in various careers, and the meteorologist quoted said anything more than 48 hours out is just a guess, and I am pinning all of my hopes on that claim.
