Saturday, November 21, 2009. A friend of mine told all of her friends to update. So here's mine:. I am sick. I don't feel so good. Don't be surprised if you knock on my door and I don't answer it, or if you call my phone, and end up leaving a message. I'm really not feeling so hot these days. It might be a while before you hear from me. But don't worry, I am somewhere in my house wrapped up in my bathrobe and blanket amongst my mess. Thursday, February 26, 2009. I can't believe it's been a month since I posted! Wow, it has been crazy around here- but a month? I'll do my best to give you a little update of the last month or so. Ryan's hospital had a fire, my sis and her kiddos left about 3 weeks ago, we continued to catch every sick bug imaginable after that, and started getting better just in time for our friends to come visit us! Saturday, December 5, 2009. My Favorite Christmas Cookie. 2 cups powdered sugar. 1 1/4 cups shortening. 2 cups sifted flour. Optional: 1/2 cup ground nuts, chocolate sprinkle or colored sprinkles. Mix ingredients in order given. Roll into 2 inch thick logs, wrap in waxed paper and chill. When ready to bake, slice into 1/4 inch thick slices and bake 7-12 minutes at 350 degrees on an ungreased cookie sheet or on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
