Adventures in Halifax: Feels like home...
http://dawna-in-halifax.blogspot.com/2008/03/feels-like-home.html
Sunday, March 02, 2008. In June, it'll be two years since I left Ontario for the east coast. Two years. That's a long time. But it's funny. this is a place that's felt like home since the second or so week of living here. Why is this coming to mind? All because of listening to CBC's. Yet until May 2006, all my life had been spent living all over Ontario and looking for "home.". Funny even though I have friends and family in Ontario still, there's no draw for me to go back there, or to leave Nova Scotia.

So maybe I'll start a new chapter soon. For now, though, this one is finished. Thanks to those who lurked and read. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Wednesday, December 31, 2008. I wanted to take a moment, before things got too hectic this afternoon, to wish all of you (whoever you may be) a very happy new year. :) I hope 2009 brings with it everything you could wish for, and that it's a happy, healthy start to the year. I've got a few wishes for the new year, and am hopeful they will come true. Not a believer in resolutions, as they can be more pressure than they're worth. Hugs to you all! Adventures in Halifax: Summertime and the living is busy!
http://dawna-in-halifax.blogspot.com/2008/08/summertime-and-living-is-busy.html
Wednesday, August 13, 2008. Summertime and the living is busy! It's been a while since I posted an entry. It's been a fun and busy summer. This past weekend I went to Newfoundland for the first time! Let me start from the beginning. This brings us to Thursday:. We had to walk through a bog full of pitcher plants, through ferns and brush and over rocks, over moss and whatever else we were stepping on, in order to get up there. It was more work than we expected, but Nickolas loved it. And that's a story un...
