Blog of Joost Yervante Damad. Monday, October 15, 2012. On demand and configurable Arduino HardwareSerial. At some point you want to tune a hardware serial interface. Typically to increase the receive buffer size because the sender sends fast and you need some time to do other stuff then just receive data. Sometimes you don't use the serial interfaces at all, or only use it for sending short debug messages. Mode: C; tab-width: 2; indent-tabs-mode: nil -*-. C) 2012 Joost Yervante Damad joost@damad.be.

http://www.brewsession.com/the-beaglebone-black
Raquo; RIMS Brewery. Raquo; This and That. March 4, 2015. Since I’ll being using a BeagleBone Black (rev C) board to run the brewery, I thought I should just give an overview of what it is, and why I chose this board over, say, the Raspberry Pi or Arduino. The BeagleBone Black is a complete micro computer running the Linux (Debian out of the box) operating system — with the following specs:. AM335x 1GHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor. 4GB 8-bit eMMC on-board flash storage. 2x PRU 32-bit microcontrollers. The Ra...

An eclectic and barely organised collection of posts about Linux, Arduino and other open-source projects I like. Saturday, May 7, 2011. Welcome to Conversely . Welcome to my (revamped) blog. It is here I will post semi-regular updates about projects and miscellaneous ephemera concerning open-source software and hardware. Much of this will deal with Arduino. Projects and information and with Linux. Was the key to that move and I still use Ubuntu on all my home computers. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). An occ...

A world of technology, fun, and ignorant rants. September 19, 2014. What I Learned Drilling 38 5/16″ Holes in Mild Steel. 8212; Cranky Sysadmin @ 2:06 pm. I’m working on a milling table for my lathe based on drawings and plans from this forum post. Don’t wear shorts and sandals. Those metal chips are hot and sharp. I got several slivers in my feet from wearing sandals. Chips and oil go everywhere in a 5 foot radius from the drill press. No advice, just a warning. No Comments ». QRP and SWL Home Builder.
