Because everyone has a song and a story. and they usually share it through social media. Monday, December 7, 2009. Love Changes Everything: Starbucks' LOVE Project. Chances are, you live by a Starbucks. If you're anything like me, you pass 3 coffee locations on the way to work, and they probably have a green logo. Starbucks is a household name for those of us who love to consume "legally addictive stimulants" (a.k.a. a grande, triple shot, non-fat, sugar-free, vanilla latte). Coinciding with World Aids D...

The Alternative Housewife: July 2009
http://thealternativehousewife.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Stress and a new backsplash. But I walked in the door last night and Josh seemed to have it under control. Minus the water not being on everything was working out fine. We slept in the new house, Clod is liking his new surroundings, and Josh even promised he'd put the bed on a frame soon and let me change the backsplash in the kitchen. (Thank goodness he hates it too.). Monday, July 27, 2009. Not sure if he's pissed about it or not. But his name is on the house, it should prob...

if it makes you happy | Feet on Polished Floor
https://onegreatcity.wordpress.com/2010/01/09/if-it-makes-you-happy
Feet on Polished Floor. You can’t even begin to know how many times i’ve told myself “i told you so”. The water can’t wash us away. If it makes you happy. My trans-Atlantic BFF, Lis. Has kicked off the new year with a Happiness 101 meme. Since I have nothing better to write about (and since Nashville’s 2010 live music scene is so far looking very paltry), I figured, why not? I’m not going to bother tagging anyone, since I think maybe, at most, two active bloggers read my blog. But here goes:. I’ve ...

Feet on Polished Floor. Saturday’s bruises and cold roses. BFAM Day 1: Please Forgive Me if I Act a Little Strange. These hazards of love never more will trouble us. Of last year. I am only eight pounds away from my lowest weight of last year, so I am obviously heartened and encouraged. But, my knees are killing me. I’ve been running every day, and for the past couple days, I haven’t been able to walk without taking some kind of pain reliever. I think I need a new plan! Stunned me, right off the bat....

The Alternative Housewife: Back to Basics.
http://thealternativehousewife.blogspot.com/2010/01/back-to-basics.html
Friday, January 1, 2010. So I've been a little lax on the blogging lately. It happens. I'll bet if you read any of your favorite blogs they take hiatuses. I, however, have no excuse except that I was lazy, a little depressed, and had no motivation. But I'm back people. Back in black. Or rather my new motto, in the vein of Ina Garten: Back to Basics. I'll be a horrible mother someday (if I ever decide I'm not selfish enough to have kids, that is.). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Adventure to IMOO 2009.
