Here are a few clips of some of my tunes. Working Man is from my second CD "Opal Street". A tribute to my father, a shift worker, a working man. 10,000 Miles Away talks of forced child migration from the UK to Australia. A shameful part of our history. In Australia we live with the threat of bushfire usually during our summer. I wrote this tune to commemorate the fires that spread through the ACT and parts of Canberra a few years ago.

My songs cover a range of themes. These include everyday themes like buying a house, sailing on the weekend, childhood memories, love as well as more intense themes including the treatment of people with a mental illness, feelings evoked from visiting war memorials, historical themes. I view lyrics as being of central importance and am quite proud of the strength of my lyrics. Opal Street" is my second CD and was released in September 2011. It is available from Chaos Music Chaos Music Opal Street.

Changi, as well as being a location in Singapore, was a Prisoner of War camp during World War II. Growing up my father would speak of those soldiers imprisoned there during the war with reverence.
