The stories of a city girl turned country. Boobies. Knockers. Love Pillows. Whatever you want to call them, breasts are pretty cool. I mean, prior to becoming a mom, I always thought my boobs were a-okay. They gave me a nice feminine curve and others really seemed to enjoy them as well. As a 36-B, my boobs never got in the way nor were they a big feature. But, alas, they were my knockers. A public health nurse? Yes) And then, there is even your own doubt. Breastfeeding is a great bonding experience b...

I was shocked to see CNN replaced by Fox News as I mounted the eliptical machine and turned on my iPod. As I started to huff and puff, my usually people-watching was interrupted by a breaking headline from Fox News:. Obama rejects American flag lapel pin. Am I on a different planet or what? I suppose if you can wear a lapel pin and get a...

The stories of a city girl turned country. We are part of a group of extra special neurotic cleaning freaks from around the world! As the in-laws were in town, we did an excessive amount of shopping this weekend. We had been wandering around Target for over an hour when there it was - the Roomba! Lessons from A (almost) Six-Month Old. As much as Sunshine seems to be learning, she also does a lot of teaching. If we all followed her lessons, how happy would we be? Listen intently when people talk to you.

The stories of a city girl turned country. Early Friday morning, we jumped into the car with Team Idaho for an epic road trip. We drove southwest, to one of the most beautiful corners of the earth: southwest Utah. We traveled across the historic ocean bed of Utah and then turned south to see the "warp of the Earth's crust" at Capitol Reef National Park. As one who has a fear of heights, I was blown away to see climbers clinging to the sides of these huge, seemingly-smooth cliffs. To to the Glen Canyon da...
