Monday, August 10, 2015. Althea writes to sister, Hetty. October 9, 2014. I have a new position. I am now an employed legal assistant to Penny Johnson, Attorney-at-law. She’s opening an office above Maxi’s Deli on Main Street. Midvale Corners is lucky to have her. Penny is a widow. After her husband was killed in that horrible car accident- remember, I wrote you about the funeral, the whole village came- Penny went to law school, graduated last June, passed the bar exam and is now ready to practice.
