Sometimes I don't think I hear him at all, since everything else seems to be so LOUD. But maybe Jesus is actually in some of these other noises. He can be heard in the angelic voices of children. We are God's beloved. Thursday, March 10, 2011. What's going on out there? Mommy sure has been moving around a lot. Last weekend, she kept moving around really fast. She kept talking about a Famine. We are God's beloved. Tuesday, November 17, 2009. I don't know about you, but I was really convicted during Pastor Shannon's sermon this week about idols. When she took out that laptop and placed it on the communion table and when she held out her I-Phone, I knew I was in trouble! Technology. No one really thinks of it as an idol, but when we spend so much time with it, it can take over our lives. Let's ask ourselves the question, "Do I spend more time on Facebook than I do with Jesus? Isn't that so true?

We are God's beloved. Tuesday, November 23, 2010. What I'm thankful for. Sometimes we go through the whole tradition of Thanksgiving- going to visit family, eating lots of turkey, shopping on Black Friday, and completely forget the whole idea of giving thanks. I thought it would be fun to do a list of things I'm thankful for. Food in my refrigerator. A great staff to work with at church. Green arrows when I'm driving. My modern dance class. Serving a magnificent God. The comfort of the Lord.
