My Happily Ever After: Empty Space
http://myhappily-ever-after.blogspot.com/2014/02/empty-space.html
Sunday, February 23, 2014. I'm no longer reading chapters. With ink dried and pages brittle. I've closed that book. And, in its place. I've found gleaming white pages. Waiting with empty space. My Happily Ever After: December 2011
http://myhappily-ever-after.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Friday, December 30, 2011. I tried something new for dinner tonight. I tried quinoa. And, not only did I like it, Emma and Jack did as well. I cooked it using chicken broth, instead of water. And, I also sauteed vegetables to go along with it. It was a great meal! I have to admit that I was surprised when Emma willingly tried it, and then liked it. And, the best part, is that it is healthy! Hopefully, she's growing out of her picky phase. I won't hold my breath, but each new food is a victory! He goes fr...

My Happily Ever After: My Family
http://myhappily-ever-after.blogspot.com/p/my-family.html
Emma is my little blue-eyed sprite. At only 2-years old, she is already so full of personality. Whether she is playing mommy with her dolls, swinging her golf clubs, or playing with Meiko, she is always so animated. She can often be found flipping through the clothes in my closet, playing with my shoes or carrying around my purses. She is such a girly girl; she infuses our home with so much laughter, love, and drama. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). There was an error in this gadget. Black Hills 2016.Day 1.

My Happily Ever After: October 2011
http://myhappily-ever-after.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 12, 2011. Emma is at the age where she picks up on everything. Or at least everything that you don't want her to pick up on. For example, we recently spent the weekend at Buckhaven, our little cabin in the woods. We all had a blast and were able to relax and just enjoy our time. You know the one. Death by Lethal Glance. And tried not to draw any other attention to it. I really thought that I succeeded because Emma didn't even look up from playing. But, of course, I thought wrong. A...

Wednesday, June 15, 2011. Mommy, I hear his secrets! Posted by Jessica Alderman. Saturday, June 11, 2011. Thoughts of Enough on a Summer night. Im sitting out back in the cool breeze with a glass of wine, Adele playing on my iPhone and my thoughts. Talk about a wonderful summer night. Luckily for me, I have babies who are the best sleepers, so I get to indulge myself. Jack has started sleeping though the night and he is just 8 weeks old! He goes to bed by 7:30 and sleeps until 5:00. It is fantastic!

My Happily Ever After: August 2012
http://myhappily-ever-after.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 30, 2012. Where, oh, where has the time gone? Is this weekend really the first of September? Didn't September just end? I feel as if this year has passed in the blink of an eye. So much has happened. So much has changed. And, while I feel like I have lived in the moment, I also feel as if life has passed me by! My baby boy is now a toddler, and my toddler girl is more like a big girl! She will be FOUR in a little over three months! I'm working on getting us settled in here. I'm down ...

My Happily Ever After: January 2014
http://myhappily-ever-after.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 8, 2014. Before I posted on New Year's Day, it had been over a year since I last visited my blog and posted what I was certain would be the last post ever. A lot has happened over that time. I have grown; I have changed; I have discovered things about myself and those closest to me. I struggled for a while, with coming back to this blog. How could I possibly write here again after all that has happened? How could I continue on with a blog title that stood for all that I had lost? And j...
