Ukraine Kids: Tuesday May 31 - By Jessica Dexter
http://ukrainekids.blogspot.com/2011/06/tuesday-may-31-by-jessica-dexter.html
Kid of the Month! Wednesday, June 1, 2011. Tuesday May 31 - By Jessica Dexter. Today we kept in mind a few verses from Exodus chapter four, verses 11-12. In this God reminds us that we do not have control over the way that things are on this earth. God knows that there are orphans among us that do not have parents. He knows that there are children who are not born with eyes, a hand, or legs. Today the women played with the children that we met yesterday. However, Sasha pointed out this morning at the tea...

http://ukrainekids.blogspot.com/p/icare.html
Kid of the Month! With the help of friends, we have created a one of a kind t-shirt that we hope will not only raise money but more importantly will raise awareness for Ukrainian orphans. The front of this black shirt says "iCare." in both English and Ukrainian. The back displays the graphic to the left (a 3X5 image between the shoulder blade). Shirts come in all sizes! We are happy to mail shirts or arrange pick up if local. Shirts are available for a suggested donation of $15. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Ukraine Kids: How to Learn Ukrainian: A Fast (Food) Tutorial
http://ukrainekids.blogspot.com/2011/05/how-to-learn-ukrainian-fast-food.html
Kid of the Month! Monday, May 30, 2011. How to Learn Ukrainian: A Fast (Food) Tutorial. Our team has been working very hard to learn the language (Russian and Ukranian) in order to effectively communicate with our hosts, translators, and the children. Of course, they are difficult languages with unfamiliar letters. As we work on learning the letters and sounding out words, one strategy that helps is identifying familiar words and terms. What better training ground than good old McDonalds! Lets Go To Work!

Ukraine Kids: May 29, 2011 in Ukraine
http://ukrainekids.blogspot.com/2011/05/may-29-2011-in-ukraine.html
Kid of the Month! Sunday, May 29, 2011. May 29, 2011 in Ukraine. And I'm wondering: why isn't this a part of my life as a christian? I mean, it's THE BIBLE! And it made me think. Oles (right) is a pretty insightful guy. Last night, a split-dead-even half-and-half Ukrainian-American group of us stayed up pretty late playing a game of his, "questions." Basically, everyone puts some questions in a hat, and then we go around drawing them out and answering. What's your favorite color? I'm not sure if you have...

Ukraine Kids: August 2010
http://ukrainekids.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Kid of the Month! Thursday, August 26, 2010. I vividly remember when I was 3 years old in my orphanage, and most everything that had happened from then on. I think one of the major reasons I remember so many details of my life in those early years stems from the enormous transition I went through, from living in the Ukraine to moving to the United States of America. 8221; When in reality God has always been there.
