WHY I MADE IT. I left Boeing in 2010, and got an MBA at UT. While I was there, I focused on entrepreneurship, finance and clean tech. I've always been really interested in the energy industry. The financing models behind those things are changing really rapidly today. The value proposition for solar used to be "Do you want to be off the grid? Or "Do you want to do something that's green? Now, the value proposition for solar is "Do you want 20 dollars a month? It's become purely a financial decision.
