Friday, June 12, 2009. The cotton on the Brown did not fair as well had a little hail and a lot of wind. The farm just south loss a pivot. A lot of this cotton has had the leaves blow off will evaluate in a few days. May have to replant. Should we have to replant there is plenty of time to do so. Over all the rain was a great benefit to the area. A little replanting is a small price for the mositure. Thursday, June 4, 2009. But just like on the Kimbrough place the roundup. Monday, July 12, 2010. High water at the Brown Farm! Had between 8 and ten inches in about five days with the last three coming in about thirty mintures. All the water from Rule has breached the dikes and have flooded the field. Will set the cotton back some and will drown it out if we do not get a break in the weather. Alot of water in this county.
