December 4, 2013. Away from Downtown Marietta. Walking away from downtown Marietta, you find a quaint residential area as well as Marietta Memorial Hospital and Marietta College. The residential area is different from historic downtown because while Front Street is focused on businesses, there are very few people that actually live there.
