I just got a call from a parent…Her son didn’t sleep last night, so she gave him a Red Bull and sent him to school. Evidently, he’s crashed and texted her from the bathroom, so she’s coming to get him. He’s gone home.”. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Next post →. Blog at W...

Writing about the ups and inevitable downs of being a Teaching Fellow to give an full, accurate account of my experience teaching in NYC through the program. February 7, 2014. The very next day, I got an email from the Fellows inviting me to interview. But still, I checked my email 17 times a day. So, will this be graded? Stories from a middle school English teacher turned high school English teacher. They make me think. Every year, a teacher in our building has kids submit teacher appreciation notes for an assignment and then he sends them to us anonymously. I wanted to share because this is just so sweet. Makes learning fun even if writing an essay or other assignments that are normally boring. She also talks about all the cool things she has done outside of school. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
