Spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings recollected in tranquility. Dhanushkodi-land lost to nature. January 4, 2017. January 4, 2017. The town was mostly inundated by the cyclone of 1964. Nature’s fury was so catastrophic leaving behind shadows of a flourishing town that once stood. Remains of several structures like the old church, railway buildings etc give a glimpse of nature’s fury decades ago. Today after four decades Dhanushkodi is breathing back to life from the ruins. There is a pig museum too.
