Angela went up to her room with her cell phone. She smiled slightly. "I'm fine. Is work going okay? It's great. Hopefully, I'm going to get a promotion which will put me closer to you guys in a few months.". It would be so nice to have an adult that she could run to if things got too bad here. "When do you think? Not sure. Hopefully by summer at least.". Angela wasn't sure if she could wait that long, but if she tried, maybe it would be all right. Yeah He's doing good, and we're getting along well.".

Elias's Locker, Friday morning. Angela is not one to let a grounding get in the way of things. It's early on Friday morning when she passes by Elias's locker and shoves an envelope into it. Just wanted to write and let you know that I'm taking my driving test next today after school, so if you could just remember me around 3pm, I'd appreciate it. I'm so nervous. Angela, doing her best to not cry anymore, calls Mark from a parking lot on the other side of town, letting the phone ring. She hasn't slept all night, and she looks, quite frankly, like hell. Cheerleaders are not so nice. [open] THNM (Monday at school). Angela walked down the hallways of school, happy to be back at school. She'd been so bored at home, and she was glad for something to do and somewhere else to be besides home. She was cheerfully oblivious to the fact that there were three cheerleaders following her, until they pulled on her braids. She'd have just left us high and dry at the end of the school year.". Can you believe it? Angela turned away and began walking again, still coughing.

At school, Tuesday]. Angela is at her locker after school on Tuesday, just gathering her things. She didn't bother with trying to hide the bruise; there was no sense in that, after all. It's gotten better, at least, since she got it. Right now it looks like a really bad shade of blush on her right cheek. She wants to see her friends, she wants to see Elias, and she has to deliver a couple of clothing commissions. She's very open to just being with people now, after isolating herself for a few days.
