Anna Lisa Stinson

Wednesday, August 8, 2012. The Maiden of Sin and Forgiveness. The Maiden of Sin and Forgiveness. There was a maiden, who was the most beautiful of them all. so graceful she was in. Everything she did. To glide across the floor for suitor to dance with or she would brush. Her hair when the night sky had fallen. This maiden, oh so beautiful was she, her beautiful dress, burgundy with a lace up front. Corset; oh my, what would the suitors think? Perhaps they would enjoy it? So that men may admire her beauty.

Anna Lisa Stinson: The Paper Doll's Wish

http://annalisapoetry.blogspot.com/2012/08/the-paper-dolls-wish.html

Wednesday, August 8, 2012. The Paper Doll's Wish. The Paper Doll's Wish. When she moves, I know that she was never real. Do you see now the pain? Do you see the tear soaked cheeks? You turned her heart as black as your soul to say, there was nothing left inside her. Like the Phoenix, she arose from the depths of your shallow heart, she returned. Stronger. Her lost innocence has been regained. The paper doll that was shredded is. You to bleed with no one to love you. Listen, and listen well:. I'm the admi...

The Lubbock Poetry Movement. Giving artists a voice. Monday, September 24, 2012. The fight" Written by Lori Sims. For years and years I fought by your side,. Even through the happiness in pain. It was everything I dreamed of including pride. Suddenly everything begin to fall, it fell as hard is acid rain. Even though we knew from the start it was going to be a bumpy ride. For years and years everything you told me were lies. To the point my heart could no longer hear love voices. Written By Lori Sims.

Your thick, rich smoke encapsulates me. . Your words enchant,. My ears gasp for one more syllable to complete my thoughts. And so I breathe you in. You fill my lungs and awaken my mind. Your cunning eyes and your devilish grin;. Each synapse alive with your touch. I flush and I fever wanting more, always more;. You enter in to me.

A gift of thanks to my dear, darling mother for her unending help and in payment for the loss of an old tablecloth at my elaborate scheme of a dinner party. Why shouldn't such beauty be used everyday?
