Tuesday, August 11, 2015. Kicking off august with a bang. Friday, August 28, 2015. Confessions of an INFJ. This is kind of random, but I've been talking to a few INFJs lately (we make up just 1 percent of the population), and it's been so nice to find people who get you, get your weirdness, and are coasting right on your wavelength. Some common things INFJs hear are:. You hardly ever go out! Man, you're boring.". Why don't you ever want to do anything? Are these the few friends you have? And really, it's not like that. It's not that our social circle is small; ...

Sunday, May 17, 2015. How Girl, Interrupted completely wrecked me. So thanks to my friend's recommendation, I watched Girl, Interrupted (1999). Over the weekend. She kept raving about Angelina Jolie's performance and told me that since I was so interested in psychological disorders I should watch the movie. So I did and now I don't know if I'm still out of that funk. You know how some stories wreck you from inside you and stay inside you for days, maybe weeks or years? Castiel, socially awkward since 1999.

a writer's reverie: April 2015
http://downthesteps.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 26, 2015. When you hit the 70K mark! Crazy busy at work this week (yes, I have a day job - it's to feed myself to keep the writing dream alive), on top of writing Neverland. Met a minor road bump at page 298, but it was nothing a bit of sleep and mulling over the plothole couldn't solve. So now I'm back on track and making my way towards the end . but also trying not to reach the end at the same time! There's this conflicting desire to finish the novel but also . not. Thursday, November 20, 2014. The week of rejection letters. Three weeks into NaNoWriMo and my word count stands at . 16k. Yup, just as I expected. I'm not going to make it in time. As Chuck Wendig said,. Thinking is easy; dreaming is easier. It's the doing that feels like carving out your skin inch by inch, but it's also what gives you the most satisfaction. Now, if I could just hold on to that thought. Thank you so much for submitting Until Morning to Giant Squid Books. Your novel is a fresh take on...
