Monday, February 18, 2008. The power is out again. As I mentioned earlier, consisent power is a problem everywhere in Myanmar. So at night it can gets quite dark around town. Here is a picture of the night market in the large town of Mandalay. The market had a few portable generators for power and used fluorescent lighting:. We scored some decent winter caps (Myanmar can get cold! There for the equivalent of 60 US cents. Looks like you are having the time of your life. Thanks for sharing the experience.

WOW - we are in Rio.Once landed we made our way to the front of the airport to catch a bus. We kind of had instructions of how to get to our hostel (which we had booked while still in the UK) so followed them.
