12288;１１月初,將有一個聯合展覽,為了展覽決定自己制作作品的外框.選擇了最廉價的柔軟的,最廉價的楊木板條.板條很柔軟,當用扁鑿的時候簡直不是在切割,就像切一塊奶酪. 經過幾次反復後還是決定用榫卯結構將柔軟的板條結構成纖細的外框.由此對於榫卯真正的開始了實踐. 中國人可說是將榫卯結構達到了極致,且看中國古家具,就好像是使用過電子計算般的嚴絲合縫,以至於幾百年後仍然結實.且看中國的建築更是將榫卯在建築上發展到極致.中國的建築,尤其是皇家建築.如天壇中的祈年殿,一座巍峨的攢尖建築,整個建築沒有用一顆鐵釘,完全用榫卯結構完成.中國建築講究"立柱頂千斤"九根蒼天的金絲楠木盤龍柱,將一座巨大傘形的穹頂托天而起. 歷經幾百年而巍然不動.紫禁城午門巍峨莊嚴,凡到此者無不為自己的渺小而驚歎,也無不為皇家的威嚴而折腰.但整個午門建築除了兩側的山牆和前面窗下的坎牆,全是用木制榫卯結構完成.向天的飛簷就是使用力學原理,讓皇家建築多了更多的曲線,而不似西洋建築多以直線...Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

白露早寒露遲，秋分麥子正當時。 這是一句農諺，還是三十多年前我在接受再教育的時候，聽當地的農民告訴我的。 白露如果種麥，就會出苗早，而造成麥苗過高過旺，及早的吸收了地中的養分，反而降低了自身對於冬天的抵抗力。而寒露如果種麥，那就會出苗晚，還沒有完全的增加抵抗力，也會熬不過嚴寒。那只有秋分時刻才是最當時的種麥時節。白露時節邊整治種麥的農具，邊要准備大秋的收獲。這個秋天的收獲，是個很長很長的時間，前後大約要一個月的時間才能場光地淨。 收獲與播種同時集中在白露和寒露的這一個月中，即使是過中秋節，農家也沒有那般的浪漫，最多是有點肉吃，月餅幾乎是沒有的。 對於城裡來的一班子少年少女學生，正應該是在月下浪漫的時刻，而想起來還是托著疲憊的身子&#...Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Sifting through the Rabble by Eric Farache
The Real Wonderful Rabble. You may have caught Jason Kieffer's graphic novel/guide to the rabble (read: homeless/marginal) people of downtown. If you haven't, it is a great book, you may recognize some people in it. Here is a link to that book. It was at once well received and also seen as exploiting the homeless it sought to familiarize the public with. Personally, I think the book was done from a very honest place, not exploitive. Jason is working on a new book now about Zanta. Cannot wait for that!
