The Librarian's Child: June 2011
http://illuminacy365.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Art, the love of Books, and the 365 project. Saturday, June 18, 2011. I will be gone for a week for my grandmother's funeral, and I'll try to get back to regular blogging after my return. Thanks to all who have the patience to still be watching this blog, and if you are, here's more filler art to tide you over. Sunday, June 5, 2011. Thursday, June 2, 2011. Day 41: Create a large version of something small. I own several swords, including a claymore which is ridiculous because I'm not big enough to wield ...

The Librarian's Child
http://illuminacy365.blogspot.com/2011/09/i-didnt-really-mean-for-this-to-turn.html
Art, the love of Books, and the 365 project. Monday, September 5, 2011. I didn't really mean for this to turn into a general art blog. Delwin has a glow beetle! I guess I'm just rolling with it, though, and I will try to resume the 365 projects but it's kind of nice to have somewhere else to share my general art, too. I have been busy. On the drawing front, I joined an online RP that's very art-centric, reusing an old character of mine, a little centaur boy named Delwin. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

The Librarian's Child: May 2015
http://illuminacy365.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
Art, the love of Books, and the 365 project. Monday, May 25, 2015. Just another post of sketches of Beatrix Potter-style art, with the old badger making various friends. Saturday, May 2, 2015. Blue mason bee, best macro photo I have ever taken! Friday, May 1, 2015. As I write this, they're in a special box in the fridge, waiting for us to get the bee house set up after work tonight. Yes, we did warn the roommates. My girlfriend, meanwhile, murmurs 'bees! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). 365 Days and One Knight.

The Librarian's Child: Here and gone again
http://illuminacy365.blogspot.com/2015/04/here-and-gone-again.html
Art, the love of Books, and the 365 project. Thursday, April 16, 2015. Here and gone again. My parents came to visit, and now they're gone. I had a lot of fears, leading up to their visit, a lot of expectations, many of them not so good. I had a huge, looming, overwhelming anxiety over a specific conversation I've been putting off until I could see them in person, and now. I kinda miss them. The whole thing went a lot better than I expected. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 365 Days and One Knight.

The Librarian's Child: Has it really been over two years?
http://illuminacy365.blogspot.com/2013/11/has-it-really-been-over-two-years.html
Art, the love of Books, and the 365 project. Sunday, November 17, 2013. Has it really been over two years? I don't know how regularly I'll post here, and if/when I resume the 365 project it will probably be at a slow pace, but this morning I felt like it was time to reopen this book. Along with the joy and rapture of having a yard, our new home has other wonders. Within easy walking distance of the house I found these. Not one, but two. I ever read this one. The Librarian's Child: Blue Mason Bees
http://illuminacy365.blogspot.com/2015/05/blue-mason-bees.html
Art, the love of Books, and the 365 project. Friday, May 1, 2015. As I write this, they're in a special box in the fridge, waiting for us to get the bee house set up after work tonight. Yes, we did warn the roommates. My sketches are from google image search, but these are the same type of blue spring mason bees, just in better detail than I could ever manage to see from real life. Unfortunately the lighting was bad so late in the evening and my own photos aren't so good. 365 Days and One Knight.

The Librarian's Child: May 2011
http://illuminacy365.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Art, the love of Books, and the 365 project. Tuesday, May 31, 2011. The prompt to work with yarn pretty quickly led me to think of cats, possibly because any project involving yarn also involves keeping it away from our own. Maybe if I'd worked bigger, I could have gotten more details in. Kind of look. It's pretty clear from the poems that T.S. Eliot personally knew at least a few cats. Our cat Froggy giving a gang sign? Monday, May 30, 2011. Much loved and much missed. Gently made us think. The underwat...

The Librarian's Child: The Tale of the Watercolor Badger
http://illuminacy365.blogspot.com/2015/03/the-tale-of-watercolor-badger.html
Art, the love of Books, and the 365 project. Tuesday, March 31, 2015. The Tale of the Watercolor Badger. This blog keeps languishing, and I feel guilty for that, but I just have so much on my plate these days. When I started this blog for the 365 project, I was between jobs, living in a crappy little apartment, struggling to get by. A lot's happened since then. I nursed my cat of thirteen years through cancer and euthanasia (You can see her featured way back in this post. The Tale of Jemima Puddleduck.
