Food and Conversation for Every Palate. 1 cup Short Grain Rice Blend. 2 cups Cold Water. 1 tablespoon Salted Butter. 188; cup Fresh Parsley, chopped. 189; cup Shredded Parmesan Cheese. Kosher and Pepper, to taste. In a heavy sauce pan combine rice, water, butter, salt, and pepper and bring to a boil. Mix well and reduce to a simmer. Cover and let cook for 40 minutes.
