Hiding in plain sight. Swimming in the bay from one island to another.They are real good swimmers. This is an Ermine. They are a dark browinish black in the summer and fall and spring and turn white in the winter. They are a member of the mink family and are very elusive. Not as predominate as the mink but still very active in our area. Land or River Otters. Staney Creek Branch of the family. I watched this young otter all winter long at Sarkar and her had some great adventures. Sitka Black Tail Deer -10.
