Tuesday, June 28, 2011. We not only got to go to a game, Brazil vs. Romania, but we got to see a legend retire! Disclaimer: I did not really know who Ronaldo was before I married this guy! Wednesday, August 27, 2008. After a weekend at home we took off for a week in paradise! We went to the island of Kauai. It was absolutly beautiful and it was so nice to show my husband my family's favorite vacation spot. we stayed in a beautiful house right on tunnels beach. So, I can't take credit for this cake because I'm doing a little apprenticing with a cute girl in our ward just learning all she knows about making cakes and then helping her with a couple of wedding cakes in August. This was our first practice-cake that we made for my parents 25th wedding anniversary! It was a white cake with a fresh strawberry and banana filling. Way yummy. Matt, Megan and baby Liam. Sunday, July 8, 2012. When her dad died when she was 5, it was during the Great Depression and her mom lost everything. They lived in Arizona at the time and all they had left was a tent. They moved out into the desert and lived in that tent. Can you even imagine? This experience though only made her stronger.
