The Techniques Symposium is an annual 2-day scientific training event devoted to providing Georgia Tech bioscience and bioengineering researchers with seminars and hands-on workshops on laboratory techniques, software and analysis as well as scientific communication. This workshop is open to any interested Georgia Tech, Emory, Georgia State or Morehouse students.

August 23, 2011. Crossdisciplinary Science Fair: Dunwoody High School. We are working with DHS. To create a cross-disciplinary science fair, matching physics students with biology students on teams in order to create projects that are at the cutting edge of science. Summer 2012: Welcome Chaiya Matthew (DHS 2013), Sara Srivastav (DHS 2013) and Ms. Afrose Arshi (DHS Biology Teacher) to the lab to study cell mechanics. Organization for a tour of Georgia Tech and participate in engineering competitions.
