Something Happened Somewhere Turning. October 14, 2011 at 11:13 AM. I was out in that ara more than once over the past year. I never woudl have thought to take the cool photos you did. I am talking about the black and white ones. I like this color photo too. It reminds me of a nice country afternoon. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. I'm Also Over Here. Reflections: Touch of Fall
http://reflectivelens.blogspot.com/2011/09/touch-of-fall.html
Something Happened Somewhere Turning. October 14, 2011 at 11:10 AM. I LOVE aspen trees! I like the way they sound when the wind blows through the leaves. I love the way they look in the fall. You did a great job on this photo. I like the color mixed with the tree trunks. October 16, 2011 at 8:19 PM. Absolutely stunning- I was down in Zion last week and most of the leaves had not started changing yet. I still managed some nice shots. Glad to see you are still shooting! Reflections: The Last Spike
http://reflectivelens.blogspot.com/2011/06/last-spike.html
Out here, two locomotives pulled up to face each other for the ceremony that honored the historic moment. The Central Pacific No. 60, also known as the "Jupiter," and Union Pacific No. 119 had brought in spectators from all around the country. It is believed that there may have been 500 to 3,000 people present. No one is certain of that number. The Jupiter and Union Pacific No. 119. Union Pacific No. 119. Saturday, February 13, 2010. Today, my sister invited the girls and me to Ogden to watch the Polar Bear Plunge. It's an Ogden first and a highlight of its WinterFest, which dragged thousands of people downtown to watch horses pull skiers, human bowling (sit on a disk and head for the pins), snowmobile races and more. By the time we'd left the house to travel the 30-odd miles, Jen had decided she was going to jump with her cousins into the freezing-cold Lorin Farr Park swim pool. Links to this post. Sunda...

Monday, July 27, 2009. Nancy Reagan made "Just say no" to drugs sound easy, but a whole generation of kids proved it was a lot harder than that. In my fair state, they like to take the same approach to sex and the twin problems of sexually transmitted diseases and teen pregnancy. Abstinence education - just say no - is the core of the effort to deal with the raging hormones and poor judgment that are so much a part of adolescence. If that doesn't scare them into behaving, they're already lost. On one han...
