Life On Mull: January 2009
http://wildfreckle.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Saturday, 31 January 2009. A new pair of knees please! Last night, we said farewell to a young lady who is leaving Mull to seek her fame and fortune in the "big smoke" (that's London to us cockneys! It was during this meal, I received a text to say our geology field trip was arranged for the following morning - to meet at 9am outside the Spar - this message arrived at 10pm - fortunately I had only been drinking orange juice so had a good chance of making the 9am meet and feeling fairly decent this morning.

Life On Mull: March 2009
http://wildfreckle.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, 29 March 2009. It's been a hard day's Night! Well - what a week! Picked up the Eagle Van in Glasgow - had a quick tour round the Kelvingrove - what a beautiful building! Before heading back to Oban to see the Red Hot Chilli Pipers! We were told they would be on stage about 8 - as we had to leave about 10.00 to get the last boat back, we were told we would only miss the last 15 mins or so. They eventually came on stage at 9.40 - so we saw precisely 20 minutes - boy I was grumpy! Links to this post.

Life On Mull: Day 70 and she's not giving up yet!
http://wildfreckle.blogspot.com/2010/05/day-70-and-shes-not-giving-up-yet.html
Wednesday, 19 May 2010. Day 70 and she's not giving up yet! Well the news from Loch Frisa is that Skye the male has virtually given up nest duties leaving Frisa to continue sitting - now 70 days which is officially a new record. Heartbreaking to see her - all the effort that goes into the breeding process for this huge bird and sadly, this year, nowt to show for it. Today I went out on a boat trip with Mull Charters http:/ www.mullcharters.com/. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.
