Minnesotalady: June 2014
http://minnesotalady.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
A true account of a lady from Minnesota. Wednesday, June 11, 2014. Youth is not Wasted On the Young. Recently, a young lady asked me if I was jealous of her because she was half my age. It took all patience and God-Loving Control not to slap her. Instead, I bit my tongue for five seconds and said, "No, I'm in the best part of my life". I know my husband loves me. I have two lovely daughters. Never again will I have to worry about morning sickness, first job interviews, or what I want to be when I grow up.

http://minnesotalady.blogspot.com/2008/06/sewing-with-nancy.html
A true account of a lady from Minnesota. Tuesday, June 3, 2008. When my Grandma Shirley was alive, her favorite show was Sewing with Nancy. Every Saturday, she had my sister or me tape the show whether grandma was on outings or even at home watching the program. Sometimes, when we'd come over she'd have us watch a segment with her. Grandma knew all about Nancy's life. Nancy had a stroke and valiantly survived. Grandma was impressed with how Nancy could sew. Https:/ www.nancysnotions.com. I wonder if you ...

Minnesotalady: Carpe Diem
http://minnesotalady.blogspot.com/2014/01/carpe-diem.html
A true account of a lady from Minnesota. Thursday, January 2, 2014. In Senior High English, we are writing our life philosophy essays. I'm writing about taking life by the horns and living life to it's fullest. This is my first draft as I'm showing students my writing process. My life philosophy is to “Seize the Day.” Life is too short to waste watching television or being lazy. Life is too short to not tell someone you love them. In Seth Godin’s blog post, “ Welcome to Paris. Old Time is still a-flying:.

Minnesotalady: Ojibwe in Minnesota
http://minnesotalady.blogspot.com/2014/03/ojibwe-in-minnesota_24.html
A true account of a lady from Minnesota. Monday, March 24, 2014. Because English Language Arts standards of Minnesota stress nonfiction and encourage the study of Minnesota Native Americans, my 8th grade class has been reading Ojibwe in Minnesota. By Anton Treuer. When I set the books out on my desk, there was instant controversy. Why don't we study Norwegians in Minnesota? I think Native Americans are boring". Why do they have powwows? Reservations aren't fair. Why do they get special rights? My mother ...

A true account of a lady from Minnesota. Monday, August 25, 2008. The organizers from the event put the concert on the street between the hardware store and the bank. They sold a whopping 500 tickets. When we heard they were coming to Red Lake Falls, we called the hardware store and got our tickets. We ended up being front and center. I hate to brag, but we had the best tickets in the house. How awesome was that? However, the highlight for me is when she sang her original song "Mike's Hard Lemonade.".
