Alex's American Adventures. Today Ash, Jane and I headed down to brekky and met Frankie, a really funny guy from Texas who made our meal incredibly entertaining. We then headed out to Berkeley on the train! It was soo beautiful down there, the streets were so clean and rid of homeless scary people. Alex's American Adventures. I got up and decided, thanks to michael’s suggestion, to get my alcohol around Santa Monica instead of duty free. I walked up to a store and just as I was about to pay she asked for my passport instead of just my drivers licence. I had to turn around and walk the whole way back! Off to my favorite sushi place where I ordered my final Philly roll. Next was an afternoon spent outside within the hostel soaking up the last bit of sunshine! Next the security line was about an hour!

Alex's American Adventures. Last day in San Fran ». Golden Gate Bridge Take 2. July 13, 2014. This morning I decided that I had eaten enough of the boring breakfast downstairs at the hostel and saved enough money from doing so to finally go out for brekky again! I went down the street for some eggs on toast with a hash brown and it was totally worth it. I then made the walk down to Golden Gate Bridge, the whole time hoping it would be visible this time! But definitely worth the walk, it was gorgeous.
