A Little Life Story: February 2011
http://dbpeek.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
A Little Life Story. A little blog documenting a little life story. Monday, 21 February 2011. We just went on a mini holiday to the beach. We are back and feeling happy! Wednesday, 16 February 2011. It feels so good to be outside and Artie loves it. I think all babies and young ones love being in the outdoors. The best way to get a baby to settle, in our experience, is to take him outside and show him some trees! Look at that little red face, it was definitely hot! Labels: brisbane botanical gardens.

http://benandcorinne.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Ben and Corinne's Big Adventure. Creatures of the Dark Peak. Whilst rambling among the peaks of the District we came across some interesting animals, some of which we have never seen before. On the higher parts of the walk we were in the Heather moorlands of the Dark Peak. Heather Moorlands are cold, bleak and treeless. They are also the perfect or only environment where Grouse. We also came across Mountain Hares. Very young rabbit - Oryctolagus cuniculus. Red Grouse Male, surrounded by Heather.

We managed Gambrinus in Prague, Pilsner Urquel, Budweiser Budvar (Czech not US), Zlatarog, Bernards, Regent, Zlaty Bazant, Velt, Corgon, Staro Brno, Ottakringer, Zipher, Stiegl and Goeser. There were probably a few others too but we may have forgotten them all. Many locals could be seen having there breakfast beers at 9-10am but we made sure we waited till at least 12pm for our lunch beer. In Slovakia in the mountains we even discovered the fancy? The weather in the Tatra...

Ben and Corinne's Big Adventure. 160; Our Days drive from SLC to Bonneville and up to North Fork, Idaho. The drive up to Glacier NP, almost in Canada. When we arrived at Glacier the weather was terrible and there was low cloud and fog all around us, so we couldn’t see much. When we awoke the next day everything had changed. Inside the Many Glacier Hotel. A nice place to have dinner and some drinks and admire the views. Lake Josephine at about 8am. Not a ripple on the lake. Oreamnos americanus – ...

Ben and Corinne's Big Adventure. This is our lovely new nephew Arthur (Artie), who was born on the 23rd July. Huge congratulations to Denise and Adam- I’m so proud of my little sister popping out her first baby (he didn’t really pop out though, had to coax him out) and can’t wait to meet the new member of our family! That makes 5 nephews between our two families! It’ll be fun having all the boys over to help on the farm one day. Friday, July 31, 2009. The Bacon was a little bit sweeter than i would like ...

Ben and Corinne's Big Adventure: Snowing on the M1–A lot.
http://benandcorinne.blogspot.com/2010/12/snowing-on-m1a-lot.html
Ben and Corinne's Big Adventure. Snowing on the M1–A lot. While we were at Sophie's it started snowing a bit so we set off at 1pm for our 3hr 20min drive north. As we drove out to meet up with the M1 – one of the major motorways in the UK, we noticed that the snow was getting heavier and the road was getting whiter. . The M1 is the big blue road travelling north. We made a quick stop at KFC so we would die with a full belly of chicken if it was going to happen. Snowy snowy snow snow. Hull Celebrity Tes...

Ben and Corinne's Big Adventure: August 2009
http://benandcorinne.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Ben and Corinne's Big Adventure. Last weekend we went to Ipswich to see Shannon and Myles. It was good being back in the Switch albeit on the other side of the world- didn’t look that much different really. We had a fantastic weekend of sunshine, talking, walking, picnicking, eating and drinking. The English summer is being really good to us and eating al fresco was a huge bonus of the sunny weekend. Shannon fed us in wonderful style as usual! Shannon’s fantastic picnic. Saturday, August 15, 2009. Possib...

Ben and Corinne's Big Adventure. We went out to dinner last night and i had beef goulash and corinne had smoked pork knuckle or rather a pig on a metal stick. She really did get served a good 1 kg at least roast. Both meals were very tasty but we felt dissapointed that we didn’t finish the pig. This morning it is sunny and we are about to visit the Old town. Monday, September 28, 2009. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Subscribe to our blog via email. Enter your email address:. Ben and Corinne's Big Adventure. At the end of our holiday about 6 weeks ago we stopped off in Vienna for 3 nights. The weather continued to be cold and wet and it snowed, sleeted or rained with heavy wind for most of the time. We still looked about covered in multiple jackets and beanies and gloves and raincoats etc. We went and watched the Lipizzaner. Horses at the Spanish riding school do some training which was interesting, especially the little dance they do when standing still. . Today i had a d...
