Bounding from obsession to obsession. Sunday, August 13, 2006. Going over an old post. Would anyone consider that paragraph a justification for the convention of killing a girlfriend to further the hero's story? August 13, 2006 at 4:54:00 AM GMT 2. Wait, is his argument that refrigerating your hero's dead girlfriend is more respectful than leaving her to spoil? August 13, 2006 at 5:12:00 AM GMT 2. I don't know if it's a justification for the whole. August 13, 2006 at 6:47:00 AM GMT 2. A lot of people tre...

Pretty, Fizzy Paradise: February 2006
http://kalinara.blogspot.com/2006_02_01_archive.html
Pretty, Fizzy Paradise. And maybe even blogging! Tuesday, February 28, 2006. A new Favorite Scene: Legion v4, #96. Since I mentioned the scene before as one of the many reasons I love Rokk Krinn, for all his occasional bitchiness, I thought I'd post the scene. Because it's cute. (Other reasons include the post-Zero Hour Machiavellian takedown of the president, because that was pretty damn awesome.been reading Post-Zero Hour stuff. :-). Bitch maybe, but the guy gets results! Written World: Reviewing is Hard

Bounding from obsession to obsession. Thursday, August 22, 2013. Now don't take this opening to mean I'm turning my back on analyzing the minutia of the commercial franchises which I personally enjoy. Don't take this to mean that I think people in Geek Culture are thinking too much. No, my problem today is that we're thinking too little. The original Clash of the Titans passes the test in the second act where Cassiopeia and Thetis's fallen head discuss Andromeda! That PROVES it was better than the remake!

Bounding from obsession to obsession. Sunday, January 29, 2012. This week there was a "Women Write About Comics" blogcarnival. And it's full of good posts. She's got four. I had been putting off blogging in order to participate, but I was hit by the double-whammy of a particularly draining workweek and being completely obsessed with Sherlock still so I had to hold off until the next one. It's projected for mid-march. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Get your own blog. They're free. A Nice Cup of Comics.

Bounding from obsession to obsession. Wednesday, January 11, 2012. I've run out of synonyms for blinding fury, so bear with me. All the more disappointing then, when I run across something so infuriating, so gut-wrenchingly awful and insulting that I can't outline my reasons for it or come up with a pleasing way to express just how terrible I think it is. I came across that today. The preview. For Secret Avengers #21. Courtesy the vigilance of David Brothers:. And oh god, just the thought that this.

Written World: How do you solve a problem like Irene?
http://ragnell.blogspot.com/2012/01/how-do-you-solve-problem-like-irene.html
Bounding from obsession to obsession. Saturday, January 14, 2012. How do you solve a problem like Irene? I've held off on blogging about Irene Adler because after the double-punch of Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. And Sherlock S2E2 A Scandal in Belgravia. And while many of you seem to be more focused on Moffat than Ritchie, I think we mostly agree A Scandal in Belgravia. Was a far better showing, even for all it's flaws. Those of you who haven't seen A Scandal in Belgravia. And the real reason Irene...

Matthew Allen Smith: October 2008
http://teamsmithy.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Friday, 31 October 2008. No one seems to have bothered with Halloween much this year, and who can blame them. America has it's own horrors. To worry about and Britain is probably too focussed on the first TV showing of the concluding Avatar episodes on NickToons (so excited! To care. But I have warm memories of watching old Universal Monster movies in late October back when I was a lad so always feel the need to celebrate. And as a special treat read the original story here.
