Pot shops wanting to open in Juneau may have to wait. The City and Borough of Juneau Assembly is proposing a one-year delay in accepting applications for pot dispensaries, effective immediately, so that state guidelines can be established first. This would mean that marijuana retailers would have been able to begin business by May 2016.
