Bev and Rick's Adventures. A view of our life on the road as first-time grey nomads! Saturday, May 19, 2012. We have been for a couple of drives this week - on the sunny days! Looking for fish who obviously didn't want to be found! Yesterday we drove to the Wind Farm:. Very impressive - each blade did a complete revolution in 4 secs! Part of the Bibbulmun Track. The Bibbulmun Track runs from Kalamunda to Albany - a distance of 967kms. Apparently this is a great place to watch the southern right whales.

Well, here we are housesitting for two months at Herons Creek - looking after Madonna, a 12yo Maremma, an Italian sheepdog. We spent a lovely few weeks in Canberra with Marc, Sara, Dylan and Elyse. Marc and Sara have put a deposit on a house in Kaleen - it has received approval from Rick and myself! Very important, of course! Made from apples scrumped from the roadside!

We are here at the Brunette Downs 101st Amateur Horse Races - yesterday we stayed at Barkly Homestead so missed the rodeo here last night.
