Visiting Franck and Patrick | beyondthesefourwalls

https://beyondthesefourwalls.wordpress.com/2013/12/07/visiting-frank-and-patrick

I read, i travel, i become. Visiting Franck and Patrick. My new found favorites. Artisan chocolates. During our trip, we promised to visit as much chocolate shops as we could between our food trip and occassional sightseeing. The first shop we visited was Franck Kestener. 8216;s. It was a few steps from our hotel so we decided to stop by on our first day. The window display was so cute. I think it was inspired from the popular game, Angry Birds. And http:/ www.chocablog.com. There were so much more shops...

Santorini to the tune of “Best Day of My Life” | beyondthesefourwalls

https://beyondthesefourwalls.wordpress.com/2014/06/15/santorini-to-the-tune-of-best-day-of-my-life

I read, i travel, i become. Santorini to the tune of “Best Day of My Life”. Since we were already in Greece, we thought it best to visit Santorini as well. Santorini was just as we expected. It was breath-taking. It reminded me of Batanes, the northernmost part of the Philippines. It was a rocky mountainous island surrounded by a clear blue sea. Clockwise from top left: (1) Aegean salad; (2) Stuffed Pork Fillet: (3) Mama’s spaghetti; and (4) stuffed vegetables. We stayed until it was dark. After that, we...

A Day with the Gods!! | beyondthesefourwalls

https://beyondthesefourwalls.wordpress.com/2014/06/15/a-day-with-the-gods

I read, i travel, i become. A Day with the Gods! The Acropolis is a complex, composed mainly of three different temples. First, near the Propylaea (the entrance), the Temple of Athena Nike. It’s the smallest of the Acropolis complex but looks like the most preserved. Finally, at the middle of the Acropolis, the Parthenon. The Parthenon is what the Eiffel Tower is to Paris. You see this iconic building all around Athens and everytime you do, it would literally stop you in your tracks. Sometime in the 1800...

Say Greece!! | beyondthesefourwalls

https://beyondthesefourwalls.wordpress.com/2014/06/13/say-greece

I read, i travel, i become. Who knew having a friend named after the Goddess of Wisdom and War would lead me to a whirlwind vacation in the ancient city of Athens. Well, I didn’t. This year, for our annual firm junket, my friend, Athenie, was the boss. She got to pick our destination and Athens was her obvious choice. (We went to Santorini as well, but that’s another story). We ate somewhere around Mitropoleos, which happens to be very near our hotel (lucky lucky us! Featured in the picture is Stavros Me...

Dear Rome, | beyondthesefourwalls

I read, i travel, i become. Have you forgotten we have a date on my birthday? Of all years, you choose this year to do your renovations? And of all months, you choose August? I’ve been dreaming of you for the longest time. I’ve dreamed of seeing this. By Diliff (Own work) [CC-BY-SA-2.5 ( http:/ creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/2.5. 5D, via Wikimedia Commons. MuSiNgS: December 2005

http://miscalculated.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html

Thursday, December 29, 2005. I treated my four yr old cousin Rita to a Happy Meal at McDonald’s-Centroplex yesterday. Seconds after I laid down our food at the table, she told me that she wanted to pee. So I asked the crew if they have a comfort room within the store. Alas, she said “None.” The only toilets are at the 2. I can’t believe my ears! So I asked them “Are you sure? Is it really okay with you? LUV ko to…. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Wednesday, April 26, 2006. Artistic Diving in Sipalay. On the way to Sipalay, we stopped by a lighthouse and this was the view that greeted us at the top. I just love the beach! MuSiNgS: June 2004

http://miscalculated.blogspot.com/2004_06_01_archive.html

Friday, June 25, 2004. Boracay is just an island away from Negros Occidental, the province where I live, but I only got the chance to visit the island resort last November 2003 during our semestral break. It took me 23 years to visit the place! After a 3-4 hour drive from Kalibo, Aklan, aggravated by a flat tire along the way, we finally arrived at the port going to Boracay. Though it was a little bit cloudy, the sight that greeted us was very serene and calming! Person of a certain Ate Marilyn (? We hea...

MuSiNgS: April 2005

http://miscalculated.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html

Friday, April 29, 2005. Bora is definitely the place to be during summer! It's a lively island packed with people enjoying the sun, sand and the sea. But if you want a peaceful respite, this is not the place to go. What I like best about going to boracay is swimming in the afternoons and eating buffet meals at night without a nagging conscience. And talking about swimming, I've finally conquered my fear of swimming in the vast open seas. Of course, with a life vest on! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Friday, July 08, 2011. The Netherlands and Flowers. Flowers, especially tulips, will always remind me of The Netherlands. In spring, and even in summer, the country smells of flowers. I wonder if the country will still smell of flowers come autumn and winter. Well, you know that you're in The Netherlands when you see flowers everywhere. Photo taken at Keukenhof in April 2011. Beyond the SEE

Sunday, August 31, 2014. See clip. http:/ youtu.be/00-6OyXVA0M ). So if stealing a car or murding the person who irritates me makes me happy, and i sit in church all happy, then God is happy too? The Bible is clear that God is to be worshipped and placed 1st, above all else, in our lives. If you listen to the Osteen's "sermons" or read their books and compare them to God's words in the Bible, you will find their words contradict that which God requires of and from us. FYI: Joy kicks happiness' butt any d...
