Belle Isle Home: May 2013
http://www.belleislehome.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
If your home rose out of the ashes and rust of a post-industrial wilderness, what would it look like? Relics of Memory and Light. Saturday, May 18, 2013. I must have passed Woodlawn Cemetery thousands of times, driving down Woodward, but never stopped until today. Bad photo, but oh, how the window reflects onto the marble on either side. There were so many exciting events going on in the city today. It was hard to decide what to do first, but I started with this one, the grand opening of Scarcyny Garden in southwest Detroit. I'm glad I grabbed my camera on the way out the door! Daniel reaching for the camera, which is what most of my pictures are lately! I do let him have a turn too.). Tuesday, February 22, 2011. Reflections on a life in michigan. Tuesday, January 31, 2012. I do admit, I'm unabashed in my love and loyalty toward the Mitten and all of its charms. But, since starting my faculty position. In Detroit, I have felt my allegiance to the city deepen and grow. Which is why I was stoked to see the D featured in a couple of un-hyperbolic, yet refreshingly positive blog posts today. Meghan from Design Tripper. Has recently opened a super-cool-looking boutique hotel/B&B. And her guests this weekend. So, over ...

Here is the unmeasured recipe for this particular smoothie pictured above, which I took down immediately after the photoshoot. 1 Banana Few handfuls of frozen fruit (my staple?
