My kitchen was gutted, my old carpet tossed. 1988 Country Blue was all that I lost. Now my appliances fit and have a mod look. I could just stay all day, but then I’d have to cook. My favorite date this year was the sixth of May. Sweet Molly Karison was born that day. She joins her 2 sisters; which makes 3 nieces for me.

Friday, May 30, 2008. Maya has become quite skilled at holding the phone with her shoulder. (she has had plenty of time to watch her mom doing this). Here she is talking to Grandpa, telling him how much she loves him. Maya, Mason and I went to cheer Brett on as he ran in the Nashville Half Marathon. Luckily by the time we got there the rain had mostly stopped. Brett did a great job and we were all so proud of him. Brett and Dan Kirzeder after the race. Wednesday, December 08, 2010. Our little girl turned one. Ellie is such a happy baby. She is very sweet and pleasant. We feel very blessed to have her in our family. She enjoyed a nice piece of chocolate cake and opened some presents. (Mason and Maya wrapped up some of our toys for her to open and Gma Christian gave her a new stuffed lion.). Sunday, April 19, 2009. We got our inflatable pool out on Friday and played around for a while. The kids had a great time (except that the water was a little cold). I love spring days in Tennessee. Maya got a little cold and decided to lay on the concrete to warm up. Mason was just chillin' on the side of the pool. Yeah It is always so great to have Brett come home, especially when it is a little early. Maya eating a tomato on the way home from the grocery store. Mason talking to the lion at the zoo.

Maya and Mason have been great travelers and have enjoyed the perks of hotel living: cartoons, sugar cereal, staying up late, sleeping with mom and dad.
