Once the beef is approximately 1,000lb, cost is $2.50 per lb. You will receive about 400lb of meat. The exact amount will depend on the cuts that you choose when you have it processed. Standard Cuts for 1/2 Beef (Appro. 200lbs). Please note: This is just an example of how 1/2 steer can be processed.
