Drawing and painting are a part of my life I could never give up. There have been times when I was not able to work as much as I would have liked but I always had ideas which appeared in dreams and at odd times. Sitting for a portrait is an informal and pleasant experience. Normally, it will consist of a two hour sitting for drawing and photography. I will then develop the design for the painting based on the sketches and photographs. Once the client approves of the composition, I will start work on the painting. Two or more sittings may be required. Direct observation is of the essence although certain areas of the painting can be worked on without the model. Photographs although not ideal are a possibility.
