Mexico Daily Living: Morning Thoughts--Travel Anxiety
http://mexicodailyliving.blogspot.com/2015/07/morning-thoughts-travel-anxiety.html
Saturday, July 18, 2015. Morning Thoughts- Travel Anxiety. These last few days have brought into focus all the things that are important to me now. Top of the list is peace. I have a peaceful life here. Okay, there are attempted kidnappings on the highway that I sometimes travel. But I don't know anyplace in the world that doesn't have problems. It is going to be a very interesting summer for me and I will continue to write on my blog from time to time. Thank you all for your good wishes. Ive just starte...

Mexico Daily Living: Morning Thoughts
http://mexicodailyliving.blogspot.com/2015/07/morning-thoughts.html
Friday, July 3, 2015. House in the Sun is about all the problems of running an inn here and Neill James wrote about traveling to the poorest areas in Mexico. One chapter is titled, Ten Dollars A Year. That is how much the people in one area in Mexico, not far from here, made in one year. And the tax man was always there to take his share whenever any money was exchanged. Reading is a good thing to do on these overcast mornings and rainy nights. July 3, 2015 at 11:17 AM. July 3, 2015 at 12:36 PM. Like man...

Mexico Daily Living: July 2014
http://mexicodailyliving.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 31, 2014. I had planned on going to the spa this morning. Maybe tomorrow. It is very crowded there now. Best to go as soon as it opens or it gets too crowded. This is summer holidays. Families go in there, bring picnics and stay all day. At the cost of 210 pesos per adult and 110 pesos per child, it has to become an all day thing. I see a little bit of blue sky out my window now so I will close this out and take Chico for his walk. His happiest time of the day. Wednesday Market part 3.

Mexico Daily Living: November 2014
http://mexicodailyliving.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 29, 2014. Thanksgiving at Salvador's Restaurant. My friend Emily at the Hot Rod Restaurant. I made our reservation for three in the afternoon, hoping it wouldn't be crowded at Salvador's by then. On Canadian Thanksgiving Day it was cleared out by three. But not so on the American Thanksgiving Day. Now the expats are here for the winter. I was so overwhelmed by then of the noise and problem at Salvador's that I asked Emily if she wanted to put her meal in a box and just eat it in the th...

Mexico Daily Living: Morning Thoughts-- Travel Planning
http://mexicodailyliving.blogspot.com/2015/07/morning-thoughts-travel-planning.html
Monday, July 13, 2015. Morning Thoughts- Travel Planning. I never wanted a cat. I never wanted full time responsibility of Chico either. But things happen. While we make our plans, life makes different ones for us. Will my landlord be okay? And will HE behave? It was a beautiful balmy day. Perfect for drying clothes. I never realized how peaceful and calming it can be just to watch clothes dry and turn them from time to time. Mexican music came up from the plaza, drumming and brass bands....I also miss m...

Mexico Daily Living: December 2014

Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Morning Thoughts- An Unjust World. They don't change anything in the world. Violence trumps thoughts and words every time. (In the short run.). This is not a fair or just world. It can be cruel and evil. My friend Marie is involved in the Course in Miracles. She believes that everything happens for a reason and there is no evil in the world. I cannot believe that. Was it just that those students were murdered? My answer is: NO. How do we find meaning in our lives? They have ...

Friday, January 30, 2015. More on Seguro Popular in Chapala. Today I am going into Chapala and hopefully I will be able to get some information on Seguro Popular from them. A friend sent me a lot of information on it. Sounds like a very good program and I could use it without being worried about getting kicked off. One bit of information that he sent was that IMSS could kick people off for ANY reason, even for your age. Wednesday, January 28, 2015. Morning Thoughts- - Healthcare. Tuesday, January 27, 2015.

Wednesday, April 30, 2014. San Juan Cosala Spa. Village in the Sun and House in the Sun. Since these two books were written, many more books have been published about this area but I believe Village in the Sun is excellent. It is well written and insightful. I loved it.
