Biking for Beer: Charities

http://www.bikingforbeer.com/p/charity.html

I want to give back while on this trip and have picked two charities that I'll be raising awareness for. I have a goal of $10,000 for each charity, which comes out to roughly $4 per each mile I ride. The Stirling A. Winder Foundation. I will be biking in memory of my friend Stirling. I'll be riding to raise money for her foundation. For osteosarcoma research. I have yet to be able to articulate what an amazing friend Stirling was, but you can read my favorite article. 1 Go to this site. Before the 2011 P...

Biking for Beer: Breweries

http://www.bikingforbeer.com/p/breweries.html

This is a tentative brewery list for the trip. It is organized by state in the order of which I'll travel. If there are breweries (or distilleries or brewpubs or beer bars) that you think should be on the list, please let me know! Always looking for recommendations. Beer Bar: Novare Res, Thirsty Pig. Potential break in Colorado to skip the Utah and Neveda deserts). August 9, 2013 at 7:29 AM. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Watermark template. Template images by wingmar.

Biking for Beer: Sponsors

http://www.bikingforbeer.com/p/sponsors.html

I'm always looking for sponsors. This is an expensive trip that requires quitting my job for three to four months and selling the majority of my belongings so that I can live off of savings. Anything extra helps and I'm happy to provide advertising space and product reviews. If interested contact Jessica via email. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Watermark template. Biking for Beer: Beer Bike Jerseys

http://www.bikingforbeer.com/2013/08/beer-bike-jerseys.html

Wednesday, August 14, 2013. One note to make is that Primal Wear. Is a great company that does a lot of breweries' jerseys (Boulder, Bristol, Left Hand, Terrapin, PBR, and Coors). The brewery collection is in men's sizing only, but they often offer XS and S sizes that will accommodate some women. Here are some craft brewery's bike jerseys that I've rounded up. What am I missing? Do you have a favorite brewery jersey? Do unisex jerseys fit you? Founders All Day IPA Jersey. Availability: Men's and Women's.

Biking for Beer: October 2013

http://www.bikingforbeer.com/2013_10_01_archive.html

Thursday, October 31, 2013. Biking for Colorado Beer. So far I've biked to:. Crooked Stave at the Source. That means I've visited approximately 6.8% of Colorado's 189 breweries. Something about crossing those breweries off my list made me wonder, what if I biked to all of the breweries in Colorado? I might have been slightly inspired by the first hikers to hike to and up all 53 of the 14,000 foot mountains. Sometimes the best beer is the one you climbed 1,000 feet over two miles for. Biking For Baseball Blog

October 13, 2012. The Last Ride… NEVER! Well it was the last ride of our journey, but certainly not the last ride ever. Many have asked if we wanted to take a break from riding when it’s all said and done. We say, “Heck no! I can’t wait to get back to thinking that a 10-mile ride to work is a long distance.”. Nonetheless, huge thanks to Mark and the whole ESPN crew. And we got to eat in the ESPN cafe! But it was our night’s sleep that was the real fun. Bristol has NOTHING in the way of a campsite to post...

Biking for Beer

A bike ride from Land's End to John O'Groats and then back again, taking in the most northerly, southerly, easterly and westerly parts of the British mainland. Travelling through 50 counties, over 3000 miles, via 30 breweries and helped along by a plethora of tasty ales. And all for a good cause - two good causes in fact. Wednesday, 8 August 2007. A Real Ale bike ride. 2766 miles, 36 days, 50 or so counties, 21 breweries, and a lot of rubbish weather. And my cousin, Sam. And the British Heart Foundation.

Biking for Bobby | Cycling from DC to Pittsburgh to help a friend in need

Cycling from DC to Pittsburgh to help a friend in need. November 5, 2015. Today, our school’s morning meeting started with: “Bobby Taggart was a joy to all those who knew him.” Those words better describe Bobby than anyone I’ve met. Despite everything that he went through, whenever I saw him he was always smiling, always laughing, always making the world a happier place. March 22, 2014. We’ve cut and pasted this from a January update on the Team Taggart Facebook page. Click on poster below). C/o Rich She...
