Biking for Bobby | Cycling from DC to Pittsburgh to help a friend in need
Cycling from DC to Pittsburgh to help a friend in need. November 5, 2015. Today, our school’s morning meeting started with: “Bobby Taggart was a joy to all those who knew him.” Those words better describe Bobby than anyone I’ve met. Despite everything that he went through, whenever I saw him he was always smiling, always laughing, always making the world a happier place. March 22, 2014. It meant we had to literally."Book for Books"! We were asking alot of our depleteted hill sapped legs, but the thought of completing the ride more than compensated for the discomfort. Biking for Braeden
Sunday, August 19, 2012. The Ride Comes to a Close. I can still hear the cowbells clanging their anthem. My muscles still feel a bit fatigued. The cool Midwest weather is almost as perfect as yesterdays. The Ride is a happy and young memory this evening. The Ride is over. But the task of eradicating T1D looms still before us. Braeden will wake up tomorrow with T1D. And for as many days as he does, I will continue to be grateful for the difference you are making and advocate for a cure. Some bad gps data!
