And once we arrive in Lisbon, here is one of the ways we will get around town. Reminds you of San Francisco, doesn't it. Here's part of Lisbon as seen at dust. Notice the historic architec-. Ture- existing in today's modern world. And then notice the brand new mall below. Thanks again for praying. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Bill and Cathy and Abbie's Home Life.

Bill and Cathy's Missions Trip to Portugal. Monday, October 12, 2009. HARDLY WORKING OR WORKING HARD. A week has passed by since our last blog update. Since you got to see some photos of us relaxing as we were taken to vist sights in Lisbon, we thought you might want to see pics of us working and pics of the school and facilities. So here we go. Bill and Cathy's Missions Trip to Portugal: OUR FIRST WEEKEND
http://billandcathysmissionstriptoportugal.blogspot.com/2009/10/our-first-weekend.html
Bill and Cathy's Missions Trip to Portugal. Monday, October 5, 2009. The worship service begins at 11:30 and runs until 1:00 or 1:30. The photos below are self-explanatory with the exception perhaps of the parking. There are no laws requiring parking spaces so people simply park half on the sidewalk and half on the street. Our "helpers" then took us to McDonalds after church for lunch. Higher prices but everything is pretty much like in the U.S. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Well, almost back.

Bill and Cathy's Missions Trip to Portugal: WE'RE BAAACK ! Well, almost back.
http://billandcathysmissionstriptoportugal.blogspot.com/2009/10/were-baaack-well-almost-back.html
Bill and Cathy's Missions Trip to Portugal. Sunday, October 25, 2009. Well, almost back. But if we're not careful we won't make it back. Here in Portugal, we often find that businesses like restaurants are built right along side the road. But we braved the walk along side the traffic to eat lunch at the Templar Knights restaurant. Picture below. In this photo you can see just how close the road is to the restaurant. The white line behind Cathy is the edge of the road. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

We didn't even have to open one single suitcase at the Customs area. They just stamped an entry visa into our passports and away we went to see if our ride was awaiting us. Sure enough. It was. Thank you again for your prayers. Will update the blog in a couple days with more pics and information about what we are doing. Love to all,.

Bill and Cathy's Missions Trip to Portugal. Wednesday, August 12, 2009. Less than 1 1/2 months left before lift off. Yes, in just a little more than six weeks from now, we head to the airport. Of course, we only have one bag packed- the one with the books your financial support helped purchase for the Missionary Kid's School located on the conference center grounds. Our little dog Abbie is trying to read one of the books. I hope the kids who read these books will have more success. Love to all,.
