An Atlantan Eats: The Wedding
http://anatlantaneats.blogspot.com/2011/09/wedding.html
Monday, September 26, 2011. Photo Courtesy of Grek Slick. I have been married for three months today! That hopefully explains the lack of posts in recent weeks and the flood of great food that is coming your way. We chose our wedding location sight unseen based solely on a few things, cooler weather, amazing views, historic charm, and a Michelin star restaurant on the property. Cavallo Point The Lodge at the Golden Gate. In early April, we visited the resort for the first time and were so pleased to e sw...
An Atlantan Eats: Fall Wine Weekend
http://anatlantaneats.blogspot.com/2010/10/fall-wine-weekend.html
Wednesday, October 13, 2010. For the first time in a while, I have a three day weekend! In thinking through what I might possibly do to fill these days with more relaxation and less laundry, I started thinking about short day trips near Atlanta. As readers know, I love wine and wine tasting. I have explored a few of the North GA wineries and written about them in past postings. For a BBQ lunch with music and wine tasting, followed by a tour at Wolf Mountain Vineyards. And then a stop at Frog Town Cellars.

Perks in the dead of winter . | Grace's Goodness
https://gracesgoodness.wordpress.com/2013/01/31/perks-in-the-dead-of-winter
Get fresh with yourself. Perks in the dead of winter . When the grasp of winter feels too tight around our souls, I am reminded that this cold season offers us its own type of quiet beauty. Rolling hills in the Blue Ridge Mountains provide a calm palette of color. The morning sun creeping into my dining room and onto my sister’s face as we share a breakfast of tomato grits and soft scrambled eggs. Flowering pea shoots that provide a lovely, subtle sweetness to fresh picked arugula and spinach. Http:/ hom...

Cash-Strapped and Hungry For More: New Favorite Food Find
http://cashstrappedfoodie.blogspot.com/2010/09/new-favorite-food-find.html
Cash-Strapped and Hungry For More. High-end taste, low-end budget. Wednesday, September 1, 2010. New Favorite Food Find. In the blurry webcam picture above? That's Fever Tree Ginger Ale, and it's the best ginger ale I've ever had. It's light, has lots of natural ginger flavor, and is barely sweet. Just how I like it. I picked it up for $5.99 (for a 4-pack) at Whole Foods. Steep price? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). This is a Flickr badge showing public photos and videos from sleatergrrl.

Cash-Strapped and Hungry For More: Motivation Anywhere
http://cashstrappedfoodie.blogspot.com/2010/06/motivation-anywhere.html
Cash-Strapped and Hungry For More. High-end taste, low-end budget. Sunday, June 27, 2010. Is in short supply these days. I blame the oppressive summer heat. All I want to do is sit around, eat fruit, and drink tall glasses of sparkling water. I don’t even want to turn on my oven because it makes my apartment hot. Needless to say I’ve been making a lot of salad. Things that have been keeping me happy: The King of Pops. World Cup, Harpoon Summer Vacation Mix. 3 pounds rhubarb, sliced thin. This is a Flickr...

Musings from one who needs to go to sleep. Is this thing still on? November 11, 2013. The magic of Eurovision. May 24, 2008.
