Art House Design: Nourishing body and mind on the road
http://victorialifestyle.blogspot.com/2013/09/nourishing-body-and-mind-on-road.html
Sunday, September 1, 2013. Nourishing body and mind on the road. It's the moment of being there, the knowledge that it will pass quickly that I absorb the flavors of these places. Rt 222, diner near Ephrata, PA. Of course, I understand the American culture, the ways Americans at large like to eat when out there, often, I am sure, due to the lack of options and price considerations. But I never really liked fast foods, their smells, taste and choice of ingredients. So, while staying in Lancaster, PA two n...

Thursday, September 12, 2013. There are still magic places out there, half hidden and unsung of by the main stream. As a reader of Hudson Valley Happenings. I am more and more drawn into the beautiful neighborhoods along the Hudson River, just beyond my doorstep. I am glad to be able to be so close to so many amazing places. One of them is this little gem:. I wonder if there is a reading nook. Where to find it:. Hillsdale, NY 12529. Images via Hudson Valley Happenings (FB) and google maps. Of course, I u...

Piekerans: Stormschade
http://piekerans.blogspot.com/2015/08/stormschade.html
Zondag 2 augustus 2015. Zoete ...

Box Lunch for the Revolution: September 2011
http://frugalomnivore.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Box Lunch for the Revolution. Monday, September 19, 2011. It's the end of summer, and our CSA box is inundating us with the end-of-summer veggies: tomatoes, zucchini, eggplant, and peppers. These aren't my favourite vegetables - most of them have to be cooked, unlike the height of summer faves, cucumbers and lettuce, and I find them harder to digest than the fall harvest of greens and squash. I've been making a lot of ratatouille. Just kidding, go to this link. 2 tbl olive oil. 1-2 tbl Herbes de Provence*.
